We are looking for a Head of Finance on behalf of our clients, for a well-knowna local skincare product made with natural ingredients and formulated for all ages, safe for both mothers and children.
This role is essentially a Head of Finance, Accounting & Tax position, serving as the overall leader of the company’s finance function
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Business Partnership
• Oversee the company’s overall financial performance and health.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the founders and management team in key decision-making processes.
• Develop and execute financial strategies that support sustainable business growth.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead the annual budgeting process.
• Prepare revenue, profitability, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor and ensure the achievement of the company’s financial targets.
3. Accounting & Financial Reporting
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Oversee monthly and annual closing processes.
• Manage external audits and consolidated financial statements in compliance with PSAK (Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards).
4. Tax Management
• Oversee all tax-related matters, including Corporate Income Tax (PPh), VAT (PPN), and Luxury Goods Sales Tax (PPnBM).
• Ensure full compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Manage tax audits, tax planning, and relationships with tax authorities.
5. Cash Flow & Cost Control
• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow position.
• Control budget utilization and spending across departments.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and profitability improvement.
6. Systems & Process Improvement
• Establish scalable financial processes, controls, and SOPs.
• Lead the implementation or enhancement of ERP and accounting systems.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives to support business expansion.
7. Team Leadership
• Lead and develop the Finance, Accounting & Tax team.
• Build a strong talent pipeline and develop future leaders within the function.
• Collaborate closely with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree is an advantage. Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or CMA are highly preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience across Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions.
• At least 3 years in a Finance Manager, Head of Finance, Finance Controller, or equivalent leadership role.
• Mandatory experience in one or more of the following industries:
o FMCG
o Consumer Goods
o Skincare & Beauty
o Mom & Baby Products
